Get Real

… Live What You Say You Believe

An in-depth, verse by verse look at the book of James.   Students learn to apply the foundational verse, James 1:27: “Do not merely listen to the Word and so deceive yourselves.  Do what it says!”

Students are desperately seeking for something that will give them hope in the midst of anxiety, stress, insecurity and so much more.  Get Real curriculum points the way.

Struck by Lightning

Whether it be sloshing through muddy relationships with friends, parents, teachers and coaches or feeling lonely because you won’t go along with the crowd, life has storms!  The sun does come out again and for a time there’s no cloud in sight. Your future is a sea of endless opportunities. But out of the clear blue a lightning bolt of pain or disappointment strikes, leaving you feeling hopeless.

This verse-by-verse look at Philippians gives the secret to joy filled living! Whether the inevitable storms of life rage simply because “life” happens, or because being “lost at sea” comes from storms of our own making, Joy is still possible through His grace! Sample Curriculum

  • Living out what the Bible teaches about leadership and
  • Leading others to become leaders.

“Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him–a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-12⠀
