Philippians~ Perseverance of Paul
For the past several weeks, the staff at Students Standing Strong have been working countless hours trying to prepare the very best curriculum for our amazing students. God has placed these lessons on our hearts and He is giving us the tools to help our students learn more about the Word of God. This year we will be studying the book of Philippians; we are aware that some students have already studied this book, but there is always more to learn! God has provided his guidance in the preparation of the curriculum, and now it’s your turn to begin studying the Word! Although the lessons have not yet been provided, it would be very beneficial if YOU would start reading the book of Philippians on your own time. Scripture says we should have quiet time with the Lord each and every day; “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” Joshua 1:8. During your time alone with God, begin to read the story of Paul in Philippians. This book shares the story of trials and perseverance of Paul, many of them similar to the trials we experience each and every day. Ask yourself, how does this scripture apply to my life? Talk to God, He’s on your side!
