My work with S3: I had the pleasure of meeting Terry Ann and I was instantly impressed with her genuine commitment to children and their walk with the Lord. After teaching school for 31 years, my passion is still about loving kiddos. I can think of no better way to do that than to show them Jesus and immerse them in Biblical truth. As a volunteer for S3, I assist in writing thank you notes to the many wonderfully committed supporters to hopefully let them know how much they are truly appreciated. I also send birthday cards to the dedicated club coordinators.
Education: BS from Texas A&M
Background and Family: My husband and I have two adult children, a wonderful son in law, and two precious grandsons.
Outside of S3: My greatest joy is spending time with our kids and grandkids. I also enjoy volunteering at our church, participating in Bible Study, reading, and exercising.
Favorite Verse: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in all situations, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving make your request known to God." Philippians 4:6
This is my all time "go to" verse. It reminds me that God's got us, no matter what.
