Dr. James T. Draper - Dr. Draper is currently President Emeritus of LifeWay Christian Resources after having served as President & CEO of LifeWay from 1991-2006. From 1982-1984, he was the President of the Southern Baptist Convention. He served as a trustee for Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary from 1984-1991, concluding his service as Chairman of the Board. He has pastored 8 churches, and been on numerous Board of Directors, including Baylor University.
Terry Ann Kelly, MA Communication - Mrs. Kelly is currently the President and founder of S3. She is a public speaker, published author and former college professor. For over 25 years, she has hosted or been featured on regional and national radio and television programs addressing social, educational and family issues. Standing for Christian family values, she was a guest on Bill Maher’s Politically Incorrect and most recently on the National Fox network’s Fox and Friends.
Bill Groom- Following two years in the Army of Occupation in Berlin, Germany in 1969 & 70, Mr. Groom was a reading specialist then school principal prior to entering the Oil and Gas industry in 1978. Bill married Holly Huffman in 1973 and they have 4 daughters and 2 granddaughters. After 17 years as a Petroleum Landman, Bill became a pastor at Compass Christian Church. He retired as their Missions Pastor in July 2014. He continues to mentor high school students and serve as a volunteer with the student, missions, and men’s ministries of Compass. He is the coordinator of the S3 club at Collegiate Academy High School on the campus of Tarrant County College, NE Campus.
Brent Alford, MD - Dr. Alford is a private-practice neurosurgeon in Fort Worth and Southlake. He specializes in minimally invasive treatments for spinal disorders and neuro-oncology. He has served on numerous boards and committees in medicine and neurosurgery. He was a member of the Compass Church missions committee for several years and currently is a board member for the Christian Dominican Medical Mission.
Brent Franklin-Mr. Franklin is the President of Frontline Global Logistics, Inc. and is a 20 year veteran of the supply chain management industry. Global Logistics provides worldwide cargo services with a focus on defense, energy, and aerospace clientele. He holds an MBA from the University of Texas-Arlington. He graduated as a Hatton W. Sumners scholar at Howard Payne University where he was Magna Cum Laude from HPU’s prestigious Academy of Freedom honors program.
Jane Clark-Mrs. Clark, MBA and BS Packaging Engineering, is a lean practitioner, specializing in Process Improvement and certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt. Currently, she coaches the Lean Management System in the energy services, manufacturing, and healthcare industries. She has served the Parent Teachers Association in the public schools as President and held various board member positions. In addition to Students Standing Strong, her passion is volunteering in the local community for organizations including Meals on Wheels, GRACE, Special Olympics and the Gatehouse of Grapevine. Jane and her husband Jeff have 2 children.
Matt Lambro-Mr. Lambro served as one of the founding High School student leaders for Students Standing Strong in 2004. While a student at Abilene Christian University, Matt worked for Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Pine Cove Christian Camp and several churches. Upon graduation he worked for Young Life. He was the Area Director of North Dallas and served as the Regional Staffing coordinator and fundraising coach and grew his area from 3 staff members and 200 students to 15 staff members, reaching 2,500 students a week. Today, Matt serves as the Dir. of Spiritual Life for Trinity Christian Academy and is completing his PhD in Global Leadership and Change from Pepperdine University. Matt, is married to his wife, Jana.
Andrea Mayes- BS in Nutrition from Texas Christian University. Mrs. Mayes has a passion for all children to know the Lord deeply. She is currently an S3 coordinator at Durham Elementary in Southlake. She serves on the women's care team at 121 Community Church and is a trained Stephen Minister. Mrs. Mayes has three younger school aged children. She and her husband, Payton are involved in ministries such as Edify and Orphan Outreach.
